Trout and coarse fishing with South West Lakes

Enjoy a family day out in the South West and experience all of the great things to do at the lakes. Fishing gives you the chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life! What better way to spend some quality family time than relaxing by a lake, having fun and catching some fish. Better still, your children can fish for free with South West Lakes Trust, if they are under 12 and accompanied by a paying adult.

Our fisheries are set in the most beautiful surroundings the South West has to offer, with lakes throughout Cornwall, Devon and West Somerset. Watch kingfishers perch on your rod, see fish jumping all around you or simply relax and enjoy sacred time together. South West Lakes gives you the opportunity to catch a variety of coarse fish including carp, bream, roach and rudd or try your hand at fly fishing for rainbow, blue or brown trout!

South West Lakes Fishing

For beginners or experienced fishermen, we can arrange tuition for you and the family upon request. Create the ultimate family camping holiday, spend the day fishing by boat or bank and see if you can catch dinner. There’s no better way to create family experiences like you did when you were younger, camping holidays should be packed with adventure, catching your own dinner and cooking it back at the campsite will capture your children’s imagination for years to come.
