Our fantastic team provide a warm and friendly welcome, teamed with locally sourced produce and lakeside locations, our café’s offer the perfect destination for visitors wanting to eat, relax and enjoy a day out at the lakes.

Take shelter and warm yourself up with marshmallows stacked on top of your hot chocolate or cool off and, enjoy a scoop or two of our local ice-cream. Eat out or in, warm up by the fire or bring the dog and explore the lakes footpaths and trails. Dogs are not permitted in the café but there’s plenty of area outdoors for eating and drinking. Expect the very best customer service and high quality produce, sourced locally and homemade where possible.

Kids love the lakes, whether your visiting Cornwall, Devon or Exmoor, our sites offer a fun day out for the whole family. There’s plenty of things to do, our  off-road walking and cycling trails are a firm favourite with visitors. Let your children run freely in our play areas or take to the water and experience a sailing quest or canoe adventure.

Lakeside Café

At Lakeside you can take advantage of the stunning views overlooking Roadford Lake. Enjoy our delicious range of light lunches, homemade cakes, locally made ice cream, gluten-free alternatives, hot and cold drinks and daily specials. Adventure into our interactive visitor centre and discover the fascinating history of Roadford Lake.  Our children’s play area and off-road walking and cycling trails make Lakeside Café the perfect day out for for people visiting Devon. The Rock Hopper

Eat in or out and enjoy the panoramic views of Siblyback Lake, on Bodmin Moor. The Rock Hopper café benefits from an extensive renovation before the 2016 season started. Enjoy delicious cakes, freshly made light lunches and a coffee. Find out more.

The Frog Hopper

The Duck Café

The Duck Café is set in unspoilt countryside overlooking Wimbleball Lake. Enjoy a taste of Exmoor with fresh, homemade, seasonal food, locally sourced from suppliers on the doorstep.
